Ramadan special Chaudhry and Sons create buzz on social media with its first episode. Fans are thrilled to see the pairing of powerhouse Ayeza Khan and Imran Ashraf in this rom-com serial.
Chaudhry and Sons’ storyline is the brainchild of renowned writer and dramatist Saima Akram Chaudry. Directed by maestro Wajaht Hussain. The serial is a romantic comedy inspired by the typical family system in Pakistan. The characters Billu (Imran Ashraf) and Pari (Ayeza Khan) are depicted in a very interesting contrast.
Despite the comedy, Chaudhry & Sons have an important underlying message. Addressing the ‘same caste’ marriage issues and how family elders are rigid about inter-caste and creed relationships. Going as far as to deny the idea of their children’s happiness in order to oppose marrying outside their ‘baradari‘.
