Renowned music artist, Asad Abbas has passed away after battling health problems.
The singer’s deteriorating health was due to renal failure followed by his blood pressure condition, as he had to undergo dialysis and a kidney transplant. News of his passing was announced on his Facebook page.
The post also included a heartfelt prayer for his peaceful rest and eternal peace, mentioning that he fought bravely until the end.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

Hailing from the small town of Satiana, the 33-year-old Asad Abbas left an indelible mark on the music industry, earning accolades such as the Pakistani Sangeet Icon award and a Lux Style Award for his exceptional talent.
Asad Abbas started honing his vocal skills as a child and continued to nurture his passion until 14 years ago when his professional singing career was catapulted into fame following his victory in the first season of Pakistan Sangeet Icon.
He showcased his extraordinary vocal abilities as the lead singer of the Meekal Hassan Band, impressing audiences with his performances. Asad Abbas’s musical journey continued to flourish, and he even lent his talent to Coke Studio, performing the song ‘Mahi Gal’ for the show’s sixth season.
