Any issue comes with its fair share of bad jokes, but what if you don’t get the difference between when’s the right time to joke and when its not. This Aussie woman certainly didn’t because here’s what she did. She ‘corona-coughed’ at a fellow passenger in a train when he ticked her off. That too in the midst of a global coronavirus outbreak.
It’s common decency to cover your mouth when you cough anyways, even if it’s not a ‘Corona-cough’. While the world is geared up with masks and armed with sanitizers, a woman in Australia was called out by a fellow passenger for coughing in his face.
“I did not open my mouth when I coughed, I coughed inside my mouth,”
It is advised that anyone with coughing or have flu-like symptoms should get tested to determine if they are COVID-19 positive.
“I don’t have the pandemic.”
What happened?
This viral clip shows how the whole incident went down:
Yet this woman didn’t take too well to the advice and went on to ‘Corona-cough’ in the man’s face again, the second time on purpose.
“Are you serious? Did you just cough at me? … I asked you politely to cover your mouth and you coughed at me.”
Of course, it all turned into a full-blown verbal spat. Soon enough furious netizens were dropping their two cents.
If this woman in the office coughs…ONE MORE TIME…
Jus coronaring up the place

Corona Dos and Don’ts
To add to that, this isn’t an isolated incident as a flight passenger coughed at a flight attendant too. What were people thinking, doing this out of spite?

What followed was complete chaos as the Thai airline management went overboard. The woman was put in a headlock and removed.
Things to keep in mind
So here’s what not to do in public when people are freaked out about this viral pneumonia:
- Don’t deliberately cough at someone. They really might put you in a headlock
- Cough into your elbow. Your hands are germ-laden and should be nowhere near your face
- Carry tissues for when you have to sneeze/cough in public.
- Wear a mask in public places. Not everyone is polite enough to cover their mouths
