Yesterday, we reported that Burak Özdemir alias CZN Burak is planning on opening a restaurant here in Pakistan. And it seems like he has just started.
On his 4 day trip to Pakistan, Burak has so far toured parts of Islamabad and even helped make Rotis at a Panahgah.
Of course, the celebrity chef couldn’t resist an opportunity to win the hearts of Pakistanis with humor. In a pitch-perfect reenactment of the Abinandhan episode, CZN Burak tried out some fantastic Pakistani tea.

CZN Burak can’t resist the tea
Burak has made a name for himself through social media where he often posts pictures and videos of oversized yet delicious kebabs, among other Middle Eastern dishes. 9GAG shared one of his videos making his signature giant kebab, and now the Turkish chef stands with 17.3 million followers on his Instagram account.
Yesterday, a local media outlet posted a video of Burak where he can be seen holding a cup of tea and sipping away in delight. Pakistani tea or chai has been a symbol of closeness and strong bonds for many years in the country.
We even served tea to the Indian pilot whose plane was shot down in Pakistani airspace in 2019. And just like that, it became a trending meme in the country. Just like the pilot, Burak too loved our chai. Here’s what he said:
