Pakistan’s iconic Rockstar Ali Azmat has hilariously revealed that he recorded “Jazba Junoon” in a small dank bathroom.

Jazba Junoon” is arguably the greatest Pakistani rock song of all time. It has become an uplifting anthem for the nation, blasting on speakers during every Pakistani game to pump up the players as well as the crowd. However, what we did NOT know is that it was recorded in a small bathroom of all places!

During a recent interview with Shoaib Akhtar, Junoon singer Ali Azmat shared how he recorded major hit songs like “Sayonee” and “Jazba Junoon” in a dark, claustrophobic bathroom somewhere in a shabby studio on Tariq Road, Karachi.

Even Shoaib Akhtar was left surprised, as Ali Azmat revealed that he had to couldn’t breathe due to the smell as he recorded the vocals of his iconic hit songs in a small bathroom that was covered with cardboards.

He went on to share his views on Pakistan’s music industry, saying that he believes it is still a cottage industry because there are no big record labels or support to help artists grow. Emphasizing that he as well as others are mostly “bathroom singer.”
