It has only been a couple of months since Diriliş: Ertuğrul was aired in Urdu for the first time on Pakistan Television. However, thousands of people have already fallen in love with the Turkish historical series. So much so, that the Ertugrul cast couldn’t help but express their gratitude towards their Pakistani fans.
Many of the cast members have also expressed their desire to visit Pakistan and the fans are thrilled. It seems like everyone’s wish is becoming a reality soon.
The on-going coronavirus pandemic has made things difficult for now. Once things settle down soon, the cast might pay a visit in October/November. Sophisto Global Media, which is an international media company, and a subsidiary of the British-Pakistani owned holding company Imtiaz Holding announced the news.
Omar Imtiaz, the CEO of Imtiaz Holding, says that the cast of Diriliş: Ertuğrul will visit Pakistan to meet with producers and fans.
He also added that the cast members have already started learning Urdu, and picked out Pakistani dishes they would want to try out. Among the cast members visiting Pakistan are also Engin Altan Düzyatan and Esra Bilgiç.
Hasan Güngör Management is a celebrity management company that represents talent from Turkey, including most of the cast members of Ertugrul. According to available details, they have agreed to a joint collaboration with Sophisto Global Media to promote cross-border partnerships.
Not only will Turkish talent be promoted in Pakistan but Pakistani drama, talent, productions, art, and music will also be promoted in Turkey.
Seems like the two countries are headed in the right direction and strengthening their relationship.
