Turkish period drama Dirilis Ertugrul continues to steal hearts and break records all across the world. The drama has now surpassed 10 million subscribers on its Urdu-language YouTube channel, i.e. TRT Ertugrul by PTV.
TRT World’s director of digital strategy, Riyaad Minty shared the news on his social media on Monday, November 23.
“We’ve passed 10 million subscribers on our Urdu Ertugrul channel on @YouTube – Thanks to all the fans around the world and to everyone who has contributed to the success. We’re just getting started.”
In another tweet, he mentioned that Dirilis Ertugrul has around 15 million subscribers globally, with over 3 billion views.

TRT and PTV are working together to translate and dub the series and make it available for the Urdu speaking audience in Pakistan and around the globe.
Earlier, the series had dethroned Pakistani hit television show Meray Pass Tum Ho in viewership records, with a whopping 74 million views for its first episode. Whereas, the ARY Digital production had garnered 22 million views for its first episode.
On the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the two broadcasters have once again joined hands to dub and air another classic Turkish series, Yunus Emre – Rah e Ishq.
