The sooner people realize there’s a problem, the sooner the internet comes up with a solution. How much of this paper do you need to wipe off your bum?
The internet comes to your rescue
How Much Toilet Paper is a website that calculates the number of days you can survive with the toilet paper you already have.
All you have to do is adjust the number of TP rolls you have and the estimated number of visits to the loo, and voila! You’ll know how many days you have till you need TP again.
Luckily for Pakistanis, we have been using bidets (or Muslim showers) since forever. Therefore, having a TP roll might not be crucial for us in the times of a pandemic.
Considering an average person visits the toilet 4 to 10 times a day, it is safe to say that we would have been in a lot of trouble if we had bidet-less (or even lota-less) bathrooms here:
Before you use the website (for fun?), there are a couple of things you should know. The website calculates your toilet needs on a number of assumptions;
- a 14-day quarantine period,
- an average of 5 wipes per visit,
- 2 sheets per wipe,
- and 160 sheets per roll
Now if you think you have all the precise information, head over to the ‘advanced options’ section on the website.
Another website is Got Paper? Be warned though, this website will not respect your privacy and get into ALL the nitty-gritty details about your paperwork.
But hey! We’re lucky to be able to go entirely paper-less right? Bidets and shower-heads can never go wrong!
Have anything to add? We hope not!
