We have all faced the music over our mischievous behavior in school at one point or another. It’s how we bonded as classmates and friends. From passing notes to one another to bunking a whole class with friends, we’ve all done some no-no’s when it comes to maintaining the decorum of a class or our school.
Most of us have been reminiscing about these good old days during self-isolation. Humorous threads on Twitter are our new go-to for entertainment and laughter.
Until a few days ago, videos of cat vs dog reflexes were trending everywhere on social media.

And now, people have dedicated their time in self-isolation to remember some of their school teachers’ famous dialogues. These dialogues have stuck with us throughout the years and maybe even decades.
One Twitterati (who happens to be a famous author and teacher as well) started a thread encouraging people to ‘Drop the famous lines of your teacher.’ Everyone’s replies have taken us on a trip down the memory lane.
"I will see you in the future!" — Mr Shakoor, Professor of Electrical Engineering.

Some of the replies were straight-up absurd and unrelatable to many.
While others gave us an extreme case of laughter and giggles.
Many of us share similar memories when it comes to our experiences at a Pakistani school.
Of course, we have all had that one teacher who was ‘out to get us’ but all in good faith.
If you’re wondering whether or not teachers find this thread amusing, fret not! For even teachers took an interest in this thread, and could not hold back their laughter.

Dialogues like “Pin drop silence!” and “Detention for everyone!” might not have been a typical Pakistani school teacher’s catchphrase, but that’s also something some of us had to go through.
