Here’s what he said.

yasir hussain about tiktok

Yasir Hussain is a famous Pakistani actor, host, and screenwriter who made a name for himself through comic roles. In an interview with Iffat Omar, the Baandi actor shared his opinion on the on-going debate regarding the very controversial mobile phone app, TikTok.

TikTok has provided people with a new form of entertainment that introduces them to community-led exciting challenges and fun hashtag trends. Millions of people around the world use this application as a source of entertainment, yet there has been a debate in Pakistan to ban TikTok in the country.

Yasir Hussain does not think this is a good idea.

It should not be banned at all. Our youth has nothing to do and our country is filled with them [the youth].

He further added that people who do have other hobbies don’t have the proper resources to engage in the activities that they love.

Racer boys don’t have tracks. Cricketers don’t have proper grounds.

The Aangan Terha actor shared a story of his friend who burnt his cricket equipment and started a new journey because he could not find a vacancy to play in a proper cricket ground. He tried to explain how the youth in Pakistan can’t follow a passion like that in this country.

They are doing drugs and indulging in wrong activities. At least TikTok has provided them with a platform where thousands of girls and boys are working on something creative.

From making funny videos to trying to act and dance, the 36-year-old Yasir says he is enthralled by what TikTok is doing for these youngsters.

It is very entertaining, and some of the famous celebrities are using the application too.

Yasir also added that the young generations are now earning money and fame through TikTok. If they are happy and investing their time in something productive, the actor believes there is nothing wrong with that.
