The spread of coronavirus in Pakistan has been increasing day by day and yet some people are still not taking the pandemic seriously. It is especially important for the youth to get informed on the matters, so they are more careful; if not for themselves then for the elders living with them. This is exactly why TikTokers are now focusing on awareness videos.
Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, invited local TikTok stars to discuss the rampant virus and how they can help by making awareness videos. Among the TikTok stars who attended the meeting were Kanwal Aftab, Zulqurnain Sikandar, Sehar Hayyat, Warda Javaid, Daniya Sohail, and Haider Ali.
Some were repulsed by the idea of TikTokers handed the responsibility of educating the youth during these drastic times.
What is happening?? Is this true? We’re relying on Tik tokkers now to educate us?

The need to educate and spread awareness has increased since the ease in lockdown and the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country. It seems like the Governor Punjab had the right idea when he invited TikTok stars to that meeting.
But is that really a reliable source given that the hashtag ‘ban TikTok’ has been trending in the country?
