Fans of Turkish period drama Ertugrul Ghazi have been awaiting the visit from the series’ cast for what seems like ages. And now, that wait has finally come to an end. Cavit Çetin Güner AKA Dogan Alp has become the first Dirilis: Ertugrul cast member to visit Pakistan.
As the Ertugrul Ghazi fandom grew in Pakistan, many of the cast members voiced the desire to visit their Pakistani fans. While Ertugrul himself, Engin Altan Düzyatan made a virtual visit to Pakistan for the Make a Wish Foundation, Cavit Çetin Güner actually made the trip down here.
So what is he up to now that he’s finally here? Soaking in the stardom.
He might not have been in costume but they still managed to get him on horseback.
It seems like Blue World City is still cashing in on the Ertugrul craze despite Engin Altan Düzyatan not coming in.
Cavit Çetin Güner Arrival in Islamabad
The Turkish actor shared an image of his boarding pass to Islamabad in an Instagram story that left his fans ecstatic.
The Turkish star was set to arrive in Pakistan sooner but had to postpone his plans when the individual he was planning a business trip with turned out to be a scammer. Despite the inconvenience, Cavit apologized to Pakistani fans for the delay in an Instagram story.
“I apologize from the Pakistanis. In Turkey, I met a man named Musawair Abbasi who was a lawyer and we talked and agreed on a business plan. However, later I found out that the business plan was fake and Musawir Abbasi lied.”
“We have a mutual love for Pakistani people but due to current circumstances, I won’t be able to visit Pakistan. I believe that I will meet trustworthy people and will meet you soon.”
It seems matters might have patched up as the Ertugrul star is here in Pakistan on the invitation of Advocate Musawir Abbasi.
Cavit Çetin Güner plays one of Ertugrul’s sidekicks Dogan Alp in the Turkish period drama. Dogan along with Turgut and Bamsi is one of Ertugrul’s closest aides and friends.
As Dirilis: Ertugrul became a mega-hit in Pakistan, many of the cast said that they would like to visit the country. Cavit Çetin Güner too had voiced this desire in an interview with an Urdu news outlet.
