DPO Abbottabad Honors Daughter of a Martyred Policemen [Video]

This video will bring tears to your eyes.

DPO Abbottabad

More often than not, authoritative figures have negative connotations attached to themselves. It is very rare to see a gesture from them that’s so heartwarming, that it changes our whole perception about them. This time, it was the video of the District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad, Yasir Afridi, that has moved the public.

It all started when the young daughter of a martyred police officer, Syed Zafar Raza, made an appeal to the DPO. She asked if she could visit her late father’s office. Not only was her wish granted, but she was also given the warmest welcome.

DPO Yasir, along with his team and protocol, visited the young girl and gave her a ride to the police station, where her father was posted before he died. She was given a tour of the station and was welcomed into the office where her father used to work.

Afridi also gave her presents and a bouquet of flowers on her way out. The band played their official tunes and showered her with rose petals. The young girl, in remembrance of her father, was sent home in a police SUV.
