In a distressful moment on the set of a drama serial, the shooting took a drastic turn, when it turned into a shoot-out. A man opened fire during the shooting of the drama serial ‘Mohabbat Dagh Ki Surat‘.
Gunshots erupted at the house in the Khayaban-e-Shujaat area of Karachi’s Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Phase VI. According to a statement issued by the Karachi Police media cell, a security guard stationed at the home, Gul Bhai opened fire following a dispute with the producer of the drama serial.
Dawn News reported that police said the security guard has been arrested.

Nine people from the 7th Sky production crew sustained injuries in the firing. The injured were moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment. All of them suffered minor injuries that are non-life-threatening.
“Nine people sustained injuries during the incident,” said police.
‘Mohabbat Dagh Ki Surat‘ cast members on set Sami Khan and Asma Abbas are safe. The wounded have been identified as Muhammad Yousuf, Muhammad Akber, Muhammad Zahid, Muhammad Shehzad, Awais, Farhan, and Shahzad.
Head of the JPMC Emergency department, Dr Seemin Jamali shared details of the condition of the injured with ARY News. She confirmed all nine people sustained bullet wounds, adding that they are out of danger.
“The victims sustained wounds on their face and arms,” she said.

According to Clifton Station House Officer, Pir Shabbir Haider, based on initial investigation, the dispute occurred between the producer and the security guard over food.
No further details were immediately available.
“The team was having their lunch during a break when the security guard intervened and tried to stop them from eating within the residence’s premises,” he said
He revealed that when the team members did not comply, the guard got infuriated and opened fire while directing his weapon towards the ground.
