Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor just tested positive for the fourth time, but she’ll get tested again soon. As though it weren’t bad enough that the singer’s negligence brought the Coronavirus to Bollywood.
We already know that supplies will run short soon enough with the suspension of all trade and travel. Then we must use the testing kits we already have with care.
As though her negligence weren’t bad enough already, Kanika Kapoor wasted three test kits and intends to keep doing do. She got tested consecutively. Maybe she’s never heard ‘a spade is a spade, is a spade‘.

Doctors normally advise a retest after at least 14 days of quarantine and treatment. Getting tested consecutively is a waste of time, and of course, the limited number of test kits.
Yet, rather than focus on getting better, she just hopes to test negative next time. While we realize she misses her family and wants to go home to her kids, her current attitude won’t help. She really should follow her own advice and ‘make good use of time.‘

The singer shared an Instagram post revealing that she was not in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Figures since she’s healthy enough not to be taken down by the virus. Yet she doesn’t realize that the mild symptoms she chose to ignore even earlier endangers others.
“Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family…miss them!”
Kanika Kapoor’s Coronavirus Ordeal
The singer flew in from London to Lucknow on March 9th. Despite having flown in from a Coronvirus hotspot, she was not quarantined by authorities, nor did she care to self-quarantine.
Despite her symptoms, the singer attended parties and traveled to Kanpur and Lucknow. When she tested positive for COVID-19, she was hospitalized on March 20th.

The media had slammed the singer for her negligence. Politicians and public figures that met with the Bollywood singer white she was infected were taken aback.
An FIR was filed against Kanika for;
“negligence and disobedience of the order issued by a public servant and of committing a negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life.”
There were even rumors that Kanika Kapoor had infected Prince Charles. Yet there was no takeaway on the singer’s side.

She is currently admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). Even the hospital administration called out her diva antics and ‘starry behavior‘. The fact that her condition is stable doesn’t help her ignorance either.
Even her family fails to understand the gravity of the situation. According to News18, one of Kanika’s family members revealed they would consider airlifting her out of there if they could.
“It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”
