An eight-year-old boy died after falling from the rooftop of a building. The minor child was pretending to be ‘Ertugrul Ghazi‘, the historical hero who’s fame skyrocketed with the drama series Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
According to 24 News, the incident took place in the village of Ganderi near Risalpur in district Nowshera of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Eight-year-old Hussain and other children were pretending to be characters from Ertugrul Ghazi, the Urdu-dubbed version of Turkish period drama Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
The children were reenacting stunts they had seen Turkish actors perform, when Hussain fell from the rooftop of a two-storey building. The impact of the fall killed the child on the spot. He passed away at the scene and was laid to rest on Thursday evening.
Can’t Blame Ertugrul
Although period dramas are loosely based on real events, the dramatization is heavily fictional. That is why much like other fictional content, children need to be informed that stunts seen in Ertugrul Ghazi are dangerous and should not be tried at home.
Actors have stunt doubles to perform these risky maneuvers. To deter such dangers, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) issues warning for young viewers to not try what they see on screen at home.
Perhaps, action series like Ertugrul Ghazi should do the same.
