The death toll from the devastating earthquakes that recently tore through southern Turkiye and northwestern Syria has climbed beyond 50,000 – and left many more people homeless. It has taken a terrible toll on the mental health of those caught up in the tragedy, both directly and indirectly.
Along with thousands of other innocent people, the Turkish actor famous for his role in the historical series Kuruluş Osman, Çağdaş Çankaya aka Başımız Sağolsun, and his musician wife Zalan Tigris lost their lives after being buried under the debris following the terrible earthquake.
