Taimoor Akram, Wasim Akram’s Eldest Son Is His Doppelgänger!

The former cricketer is anxiously waiting to meet his son.

The former player of Pakistan cricket team Wasim Akram recently shared a collage of his son Taimoor Akram’s picture. The picture created a buzz on the internet because of the uncanny resemblance of the father and son. Fans are loving this adorable picture from Taimoor’s childhood and grownup picture.

Wasim Akram is a Pakistani cricket commentator, coach, and former cricketer, and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. Known as the “King of Reverse Swing” or the “Sultan of Swing”, Akram is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He is considered to be one of the founders, and perhaps the finest exponent of, reverse swing bowling.

 

In November 2018, he joined the PSL franchise, Karachi Kings, as a President. The Government of Pakistan awarded him the Hilal-e-Imtiaz on 23 March 2019 for his lifetime achievements in the field of Cricket.

The legendary cricketer first married Huma Mufti in 1995. They had two sons from their marriage of 14 years: Tahmoor and Akbar. Huma died of multiple organ failure in Chennai, India, on 25 October 2009. He then tied a knot with an Australian woman, Shaniera Thompson on 12 August 2013.  The couple welcomed their baby girl on 27 December 2014, Aiyla Sabeen Rose Akram.

The cricketer shared the picture of his eldest son Taimoor on his social media account a few days back, with a caption,

“My eldest boy has all grown up! Can’t wait to see you 2 more days InshAllah”

This garnered a lot of attention from fans including Indian cricket commentator Gautam Bhimani.
