For Sonia Hussain fans looking forward to seeing her in Sorry – A Love Story, some bad news. She’s been dropped. For all Faryal Mehmood fans, there’s some good news. The actress just got her silver screen break with Sorry – A Love Story.
When actor Faysal Qureshi announced the cast for his upcoming production Sorry – A Love Story it included Faysal Qureshi, Amina Sheikh, Zahid Ahmed, and Sonya Hussain.
A Worthy Replacement?
Sonya has now been replaced with Faryal Mehmood. While we’re all excited for Faryal, why did they ditch Sonya?
Sorry’s director Sohail Javed announced that Sonya quit the film. Sonya, on the other hand, said that she wasn’t even aware that she quit. Looks like a case of ghosting.
What came next was news that she has been replaced by Faryal Mehmood.
Things don’t look too down for the Azaad actress as she has signed on to Urwa Hocane’s debut production Tich Button.

Faryal Mehmood Gets a Good Start
As for Faryal, she didn’t make it big in the television drama scene. However, she was in the web series Enaaya with Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Asad Siddiqui, and Yasir Hussain.
Besides that, the actress already has another film under her belt. Faryal Mehmood has also been cast in Yasra Rizvi’s film Senti Aur Mental.
Based on the looks of it, Sorry will be a bigger break for her as this is Faisal Qureshi’s production debut.
The film will mark Faisal Qureshi’s return to Pakistan’s silver screen. The actor was tired of waiting for the right roles, so he chipped in to make that happen.
Sorry is co-written by Asma Nabeel. This is the writer who penned Maan Jao Na and TV drama Khaani.
We can’t wait to see what Faryal Mehmood has in store for us.
