Recently, the Sindh High Court was requesting (read: demanding) the presence of Humayun Saeed, to explain his demeaning dialogues towards women in Mere Pass Tum Ho. The move has garnered a lot of attention on social media platforms. Many social media users are losing their mind and trying to fathom what the SHC was thinking.
If that wasn’t enough, now Fawad Chaudhry has also joined in and poked fun at the whole thing.

Since the Sindh High Court has disposed all the pending cases that numbered in thousands & nothing remains on the docket, it has take a wise step. I support the HC here wholeheartedly. https://t.co/ZmAPFZvtoZ

While some people are straight up mad about Humayun Saeed being summoned to the court, others are poking fun and enjoying the ‘drama’ that this drama has created
Can we please have live coverage of when they summon KRQ? ‘MEIN MASOOM MARD HOON JUDGE SAHAAAAB!’ #MerayPassTumHo ke dramay 😃https://t.co/YaNMkjtLAs

To everyone’s surprise, even the Federal Minister for Science and Technology couldn’t hold back. Fawad Chaudhry, like everyone else, took to Twitter to express his feelings towards the on-going petition against Mere Paas Tum Ho.
He made light of the whole thing:
Seems Courts have little number of substantive cases left for disposal so opted k Shughal hi laga lein otherwise nothing can justify this notice….. https://t.co/XkINkW4C6Q
— Ch Fawad Hussain (@fawadchaudhry) January 29, 2020
Unlike most people, he did hold back on expressing his true emotions, opting instead to show the court what it looks like from the public’s view. He said the court wants some “shughal” (fun and excitement) since all the important cases are apparently being taken care of (not sure if sarcasm or real thing).

Fawad Chaudhry is a huge fan of the drama
This isn’t the first time Mr. Chaudhry spoke of the hit TV show Mere Paas Tum Ho. He previously tweeted this post, to show his support:
Must congretulate @ARYVideos for showing epic drama serial #MerayPassTumHo, writer n whole team deserves big applause. I yet again ask @amazon and @Netflix invest in Pak drama n film #Pakistan has far better minds than India our music is far superior, you guys wont regret.

We also can’t ignore the backlash he received for comparing Pakistani Drama Industry to Bollywood, and here’s what the people had to say
Can we get our Science Minister off Twitter? He can't spell congratulate, he praises basic drama serials, he compares Pakistan with a billion strong Indian market, in a country with less than 1 million using credit cards for online purchases. Come on!

Look at here! The PM of Pakistan. He doesn’t care about economy, doesn’t care about Inflation. About what he is caring a Drama. How can be some one so stupid 😂

Dabbu saab,
What is the dying need to mention India while inviting Netflix n amazon?
Doesn't Pak have an identity of its own, and just wants to be identified as 'not being India'??P.S: look up congratulate spelling

Mr. Chaudhry may have had some good points here, but it could have been articulated in a better way and via the proper channels.
As far as your statement against the court goes, apparently the public seems to agree with him.
