Controversial actor, Feroze Khan has issued a public apology to his fellow celebrities whose phone numbers and private information he shared on social media without consent.
It looks like the Habs star and Muneeb Butt have ‘buried the hatchet’, ending their public feud with two spotted together alongside Feroze Khan’s trusted ‘peer Sahab’.
Muneeb Butt and his family have dropped charges against Feroze shortly after he had apologized for his actions.
Feroze Khan shared his detailed apology on Instagram. He wrote,
On January 17, 2023, a legal notice of defamation (drafted by my former legal team) was posted from my [Instagram]. Somehow, I failed to notice that the said notice contained the personal details of the recipients including their phone numbers. As soon as I realized, I deleted the post immediately within minutes.
Feroze Khan met up with Muneeb Butt, who had been vocal about taking legal action against him, on Sunday.
The two took a picture together to put an end to their feud. Khan wrote, “Whatever happened between my family and Muneeb Butt, we have decided to end it here with the guidance of our elders. In the future, we will maintain a relationship of mutual respect and care like a family”.
Muneeb Butt also shared the same picture on his Instagram, stating,”I, Muneeb Butt, and family hereby state that to give us pain and mental distress wasn’t Feroze Khan’s intention. It was a mistake and I announce to drop all the charges.”
Muneeb’s wife, Aiman as well as his sister-in-law Minal Khan and her husband Ahsan Mohsin Ikram, all shared scripted, identical statements on social media.
It is to be noted, Feroze Khan shared all the contact information of his fellow celebrities who sided with his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan, after she accused Feroze of domestic abuse. At the moment, no other celebrity involved as issued any statement to Feroze Khan’s public apology.
