First Look at MCU’s ‘The Marvels’ Starring Iman Vellani and Brie Larson

The upcoming film is set to premiere on 10 November.

Marvel Studios just dropped the first teaser for the highly anticipated The Marvels starring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel.

The upcoming MCU film is a sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel. Fans got to see all three female stars onscreen together for the first time as take on a cosmic adventure, with cameos by Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury as well as Cobie Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, and Randall Park to name a few.

In the 2019’s Captain Marvel, fans learn how Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) got her powers before after being brainwashed by the Kree empire.

The Marvels will expand on her story, exploring her conflict with the Kree. According to the teaser, Carol Denvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) have their powers tangled, causing them to switch places with each other as Nick Fury tries to make heads and tail of the bizarre situation.

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta with script written by Megan McDonnell. Aside from Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani, the rest of the cast included Mohan Kapur, Zenobia Shroff, Saagar Shaikh, Colin Stoneley, Abraham Popoola, Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-Joon, Shamier Anderson, and Ffion Jolly.

The Marvels will  premiere in theaters at the end of this year on 10 November, 2023.
