Five-Year-Old Kid Caught Driving His Parents Car To Buy a Lamborginhi

Wait what?

It seems that today’s kids are becoming more and more independent at a very early age. While most of us at the age of five were busy crying over spilled milk or struggling to put together a sentence, a kid from Utah decided to take the family car out for a drive!

And that’s not even the most shocking part. Apparently he wanted to buy a supercar for himself. WIth a little cash. All alone.

This is Adrian, a five-year-old from Utah State. He not only managed to start up the family SUV on his own, but also took it to the freeway.

Of course, this ‘baby driver’ was stopped by the local police. The patrolman spotted the SUV weaving across lanes at 30mph (50km/h), and issued a traffic stop, Thankfully, Adrian duly obeyed the signal by the officer (like a good boy).

The officer was shocked to discover 5 year old Adrian behind the wheel, who confidently stated that he was on his way to buy a Lamborghini! Talk about a kid going places!

The boy told the authorities that he had left home after his mother refused to buy him the luxury vehicle and he was not having it!

“He decided he’d take the car and go to California to buy one himself,” Utah Highway Patrol said on Twitter.

“He might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 dollars in his wallet.”

Dash camera footage shows the vehicle weaving slightly in traffic before pulling over at the police signal. In the footage, the officer can then be heard saying “How old are you? You’re five years old?” once he sees the boy.

The boy was sitting at the very edge of the seat just so he could reach the pedals. He had made it about a five minutes’ drive from home.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident. It will be left to local prosecutors to decide whether to file charges against the parents. Both were at work and he was left in the care of a sibling when he took the car.

Following the incident, police issued a reminder to ensure that car keys are not easily accessible to children.

Let’s hope Vin Diesel is watching, as he could use someone like Adrian on his crew. Stay posted for more updates.
