Foodies Assemble for Rawalpindi’s Biggest Food Festival at Ayub Park Tomorrow!

The three-day food festival will feature more than 55 food stalls, and a musical performance by Natasha Baig

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is organizing the second edition of the popular Pindi Food Fest at Ayub Park from tomorrow onwards until 13 November.

The three-day food festival will feature more than 55 food stalls and a variety of different cuisines. There will also be a children’s carnival for the entertainment of families during the festival, as well as ­a musical evening, including a performance by the popular singer, Natasha Baig.

The RCCI’s recently shared a teaser of the event on its official Instagram account and called out to local foodies to prepare themselves “for the biggest food festival of Rawalpindi”.

The caption read: “Don’t miss out on the fun, catch all your favorite cuisines only at Pindi Food Fest 2022”.

According to RCCI President, Saqib Rafiq, the intent behind the second edition of the Pindi Food Fest is to promote the regional and traditional cuisines of Pakistan and their unique flavors. The popular food festival is also an opportunity for various entrepreneurs to engage in branding and networking.

He added that the female entrepreneurs associated with the food business have also been given a platform to launch their own brands and said, “This will also enable them [women] to expand their business networks by interacting with other entrepreneurs”.

Saqib Rafiq added that another goal of this festival is “to encourage and inspire women who have not yet started their businesses to enter into the field of entrepreneurship”.

The RCCI President also revealed that the decision to organize Food Fest for the second time was due to last year’s “good feedback”.
