Despite his intimidating image, we often forget that General Qamar Javed Bajwa is just a regular family man like everyone else. Now he’s a grandfather too.
According to Jang News, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has become the grandfather of twins. These two babies were born to his son Saad Siddique Bajwa.
Sources close to his son said that Saad Bajwa’s wife gave birth to twin sons in a hospital in Dubai. Saad Bajwa tied the knot with the daughter of Sabir Hameed back in 2018. Sabir Hameed is a Lahore-based businessman.
Of course, the marriage of COAS’s son made headlines as media outlets reported about the high-profile guest list. Even the Nikah was solemnized by religious scholar Allam Saqib Raza Mustafai.
While we saw glimpses of Saad at his wedding, the Army Cheif’s other son Ali stays out of the limelight. The Army Chief keeps his personal life very hush hush. Yet, news of him becoming a grandfather still made headlines.
On the other hand, General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi. There he was conferred with the Order of the Union Media in recognition of his services to strengthen ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
