As we all know the daughter of former chief of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Saif-ur-Rehman, Aisha Saif, and Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar were nikkahfied on Sunday.
Like most wedding festivities, all eyes are on the bride. Aisha Saif looked peachy in her bridal ensemble. Who was she wearing? Famed Indian bridal designer Sabyasachi.
The bride looked like a vision in the bridal lehnga choli adorned with so many details. She did opt for a more modest neckline compared to the original design.
She paired the look with gold bangles, a heavy gold choker, and a layering necklace.
However, what really caught our eye was the coy chemistry between the bride and groom.
There aren’t many dotting husbands in Pakistan’s political landscape, it is too much to ask for one now? We’re really looking forward to seeing more of Junaid Safdar and Aisha Saif together!
As for the guest list, while Aisha Saif’s father was there for his daughter’s big day, Junaid Safdar only had his grandfather, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz supremo, Nawaz Sharif, and uncle Hussain Nawaz. His parents, PML-N Vice Maryam Nawaz and Captain (R) Safdar couldn’t attend their son’s nikkah in London as Maryam Nawaz’s name is placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The ceremony was held at the Lanesborough Hotel in London. The hotel has housed many celebs over the years, such as Barbara Walters, Madonna, George Bush Sr, Cher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Johnny Depp, Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey, and Pamela Anderson.
