Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi finally addressed his Pyarey Afzal co-star Ayeza Khan’s light-hearted statement about him being “too difficult to work with”
The Legend of Maula Jatt star commented, in a recent interview with The Current that he always stays true to himself on the sets.
He said,
Even when we have to shoot serious or angry scenes, I am not the sort of an actor who would want to get into that exact mindset. I cannot just continuously sit in a serious manner because I like to have fun and make other people have fun as well.
Hamza Ali Abbassi added, “In fact, if the scene is too intense, I act differently to experience a contrast while filming those sequences. It works for me”.
Ayeza Khan’s Remark
Ayeza Khan appeared on the YouTube show Momina’s Mixed Plate a few years ago and discussed her time working with Hamza Ali Abbasi in the hit drama serial Pyarey Afzal. She revealed that she had found it difficult to work with him “because he laughs a lot”.
“Whenever there is a serious scene with him, which requires certain emotions, he keeps on laughing,” she revealed.
She also mentioned that she had to take cues from director Nadeem Baig because Hamza Ali Abbassi kept distracting her.
Ayeza Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi are good friends and reunited for a TV commercial.
The host of The Current, Uzair Anwer, asked Hamza Ali Abbasi if Ayeza Khan or Hania Aamir is his favorite co-star. The actor admitted that he enjoyed working with them both but his favorite female co-star has been Aisha Uqbah Malik. The two had worked together in the drama serial Mann Mayal and Bilal Lashari’s film Waar.
