2020 kicked off with a bang as there have been many big movie announcements for this year as well as the next. Recently, the news of Saba Qamar starring in Hassan Zia’s next untitled project got everyone excited. Now fans can rejoice as we have more breaking news for another major project in the works. According to our sources, the talented Hania Aamir and the charismatic Sheheryar Munawar are going to star together in writer/director Wajahat Rauf’s next film!
This will be the first time that both these stars will share the big screen. The film is written by Mohsin Ali, who is best known for writing Wrong No. and writing and directing Chuppan Chuppai. Mohsin has also written Hassan Zia’s next project, thus both of his scripts will release this year.
The project titled Pardey Mein Rehny Do was initially supposed to be directed by Mohsin with actor Ahsan Khan as the lead. However, due to an unavoidable turn of events, the script eventually landed in Wajahat Rauf’s lap with Sheheryar replacing Ahsan in the role. The film will be produced by Wajahat Rauf under production company Showcase Productions with Zayed Sheikh, who produced and acted in Chuppan Chuppai, as co-producer.

While Wajahat’s previous films were lighthearted, this upcoming movie is not just another romantic comedy, but also deals with a somewhat taboo subject. It has a very strong message at its core.
The new title for the film is yet to be decided and will be revealed in days to come. Shooting for the project is said to begin very soon.
Coming back to the lead cast, while Sheheryar’s last release Parey Hut Love is still running in theatres with limited shows, Hania’s last film as lead actor, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, was released back in 2018 and the starlet was last seen in a cameo appearance in the Mahira Khan’s Superstar.
