As many celebrated Mother’s Day over the weekend with public posts appreciating their mother, Hania Amir opened up about her strained relationship with her father. There’s a sadness that comes with holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day for those with absent parents.
The actress started with pointing out how some people’s mother isn’t around to celebrate Mother’s day with them. Hania Aamir shared a heartfelt message for those who can’t celebrate Mother’s Day.

In a video posted on Instagram, the Anaa actress opened up about her strained relationship with her father. This prevents her from celebrating Father’s Day. That’s why she can relate to those who can’t celebrate Mother’s Day.
“I just wanted to come here and wish you all a very Happy Mother’s Day. I couldn’t find a recent picture with her so I didn’t post anything. But a thought crossed my mind and I felt I should share it.”
“Whenever Father’s Day comes up – my father’s alive and well – but I choose not… we don’t stay connected, … I don’t feel the best on Father’s Day and that’s because we don’t speak to each other. But I love him and I can’t even imagine if he wasn’t in this world anymore,” Hania revealed.
The Dil Ruba actress voiced support for others that might not be the happiest on holidays like these.
“I just wanted to come here and acknowledge that if you’re going through something like this, then I see you. It’s okay if other people are celebrating, you hang in there.”
