Have You Seen This Lollywood Film About Adolf Hitler and His Pakistani Son?

Lollywood was once ahead of its time.

People are always complaining that Pakistan’s entertainment industry doesn’t have any original, unique, or socially conscious content and that most of the films are predictable love stories. Whoever said this, clearly hasn’t seen the 1986 Lollywood film Hitler.

No, this was not an attempt at making a biopic about the Führer. Rather, the writers came up with a totally original plot – this film depicted an alternate reality where Adolf Hitler had a son!

In this ‘unique’ film, viewers got to see that Adolf Hitler didn’t commit suicide. Rather, he went into hiding someplace no one could’ve looked for him – Pakistan! There, the Führer couldn’t resist the local ladies and had a son (aka Hitler Jr.).

That’s not all. In this reality, Josef Goebbels is also in Pakistan, changing his name to Malik Sahib, and it was the Germans who dropped the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which doesn’t make any sense but who cares.

Eventually, Hitler Jr. grows up to be a local Punjabi gangster, who still talks to his late father (see below). His life of crime and terrorizing of the local population goes too far as Hitler Jr. and his Nazi (or Niazi) goons clash with a local hero, who wants to bring down the Führer’s son.

Also, Hitler Jr. has an army of bears for some reason.

Directed by one of Lollywood’s most “socially conscious” directors, Idrees Khan, Hitler is as ridiculous as it sounds.

Featuring a star-studded cast that features Mustafa Qureshi as Hitler Jr. and Sultan Rahi as… Sultan Rahi (aka the brave hero). So if you’re bored with Netflix and want to enjoy a Lollywood classic, be sure to check out Hitler.
