Euphoria singer Palash Sen praises Atif Aslam for his work in Bollywood. According to the Indian singer and songwriter, the Pakistani artist left a lasting impression on Bollywood.
Palash Sen, the Indian music maestro behind the formation of Euphoria, applauds Atif Aslam and his contribution to Bollywood. Sen took to Instagram to share a throwback picture with Atif. He claims that the work of the “Jalpari” singer has “made the maximum impact on Bollywood’s music over the last 15 years.”
Sen adds: “Do we really lack talent that there was so much influence from one musician on Bollywood?” The Indian artist tips the hat to his counterpart once again by expressing, “I think Atif did make a big impact, hence Bollywood forgot our own talent and everyone started following his way of singing/ making music.”
“He has style, panache and that nasal twang that most singers in Bollywood tried to imitate,” Palash wrote.
Atif Aslam, the heartthrob of many in Pakistan and India, entered the Bollywood industry back in 2005. Ever since, he has recorded a total of 73 songs for Bollywood, ruling over the hearts of the Indo-Pak population.
At the end of the interview, Sen compares the Bollywood industry with other industries abroad. He sheds light on how Bollywood gives ample opportunities to foreign artists while neglecting Indian artists internationally.
“We, as Indians, give so many opportunities to everybody, but I don’t think we get the same reciprocation from other countries.” he said.
