The long-awaited comedy Hera Pheri 3 will finally hit theaters this year.
After facing a delay when Akshay Kumar walked out because of a conflict with Firoz Nadiadwala, the project will finally be completed.

The threequel was announced back in May, 2018. The film is being directed by Indra Kumar and finally, the original cast is on board. Akshay Kumar, Suneel Shetty and Paresh Rawal will be returning to reclaim their roles for round three.
Even now, the production is at the script stage. Director Indra Kumar has been working on the script since the movie was announced back in May, 2018.

So far only half the script has been finalised. Originally Hera Pheri 3 was supposed to hit theatres in December, 2018.
“At present, the film is in the scripting stage. Indra Kumar has been working with his team of writers on the story since May last year and has already locked the first half, while the second half requires some more work. He will jump into it after the release of his upcoming directorial, Total Dhamaal.”
Delays
The delay has been credited to the script. The team are taking their time with the script because they do not want to compromise on quality. The team intends to uphold the standard the former films. After all, its a Bollywood franchise that’s guaranteed to provide a silly and good time in theatres.
The film is also facing financial problems which is another cause behind the delay.
