Minal Khan’s wedding dress was every bride’s dream. The actress looked beautiful in a luxurious cranberry bridal pishwas designed by Annus Abrar. Her dress has been the talk of the town lately and the designer is sharing all the details for her fans.
Minal and Ahsan tied the knot on Friday, September 10. Among many other things, the bride’s dress is taking center stage in discussions. For her big day, Minal Khan donned a heavily embellished cranberry pishwas, paired with an intricately detailed farshi lehenga. Annus Abrar has taken to his Instagram to share the process of bringing the dress from the drawing board to life.
“Minal Khan dazzled at her wedding in our bespoke glam festive red bridal pishwas, farshi sharara and handcrafted kaamdani and zardozi dupatta,” wrote the designer.
Sharing pictures of artisans carefully embellishing the dress, the designer wrote,
“Making of Minal’s bridal. Stunning shade of cranberry red with deep maroon applique incorporated with kamdani and zardozi.”
The pishwas contained 38 kalis [panels], which gave it the perfect volume for twirling.
“Over 55 artists worked day and night to create this magical piece of couture”, adding that it ‘takes a creative village’ to make one glorious dress.
