As we all know the role of the character ‘Shakira’ was offered to Neelam Muneer in Ishq Zahe Naseeb which she rejected and the offer then landed in Yumna Zaidi’s lap. And no doubt she did a phenomenal job. But now in the latest interview, the Chakkar starlet shared more details of rejection.
In her appearance in an interview, the Wrong Number actress opened up about why she turned down the role. When the interviewer asked she praised the director and the whole script and said,
“It was a very good project, the director (Farooq Rind) is amazing, and it aired on HUM TV and was a proper package. But unfortunately, there was a clash of dates and I felt I won’t be able to manage.”
And further added,
“Yumna did a very fine job in the drama, I did watch the show though.”
However last year in an interview, Yumna Zaidi mentioned that her role in Ishq Zahe Naseeb was initially offered to Ayeza Khan and Neelam Muneer. They turned down the role as its screen time was less than the other female part, played by Sonya Hussyn.
On the other hand, the Dil Mom Ka Diya star also shared that she is very fond of actor Ahad Raza Mir. During a fun quiz, she shared she wanted to take a trip on a private jet with him.
