Engin Altan Duzyatan AKA ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ arrived in Lahore last week on a brief visit to Pakistan. If that wasn’t enough to have Pakistanis fans go over the moon with joy, the Turkish actor also revealed that he is open to working in the Pakistani entertainment industry in future.
Engin Altan was invited by a private business group for a short visit. Shortly after arriving, the Dirilis Ertugrul star addressed a press conference. Here, he revealed that he is willing to act in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Although he is open to joining the biz, which largely comprises of Urdu dramas, it is unclear how he will overcome the language barrier.

According to 24HDNews, during the press conference, the Turkish star was asked if he would consider working in the Pakistani showbiz industry. He responded with;
“Why not. If you have a good story, why not.”
The Romantik Komedi actor said he was overwhelmed by the love his Pakistani fans showered him with. He was particularly touched by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan promoting his drama in his country.
“I know the people of Pakistan love me, … It’s a pleasure to me of course that Pakistan prime minister allows the TV series and allows me,”
The Anadolu Kartalları actor was a bit disappointed that he didn’t have more time to properly explore the country.
“But I am aware of the natural beauty of Pakistan, especially I am impressed by its mountainous area and would like to see it. I would also like to visit historical sites,”
The Turkish actor did get to explore the food scene and is a fan of Pakistani cuisines. He said it’s a bit spicy but still tastes great.

It is unknown if a public meet and greet with the Kursun star is in the cards. However, that is definitely something fans are interested in. Pakistani fans would love to meet their favorite Turkish star in person.
Despite Engin Altan being the most famed Turkish star in Pakistan, Cavit Çetin Güner was the first Dirilis Ertugrul cast member to visit Pakistan. Earlier in September, Cavit Çetin Güner aka Dogan Alp also paid a visit to Pakistan. Here was invited by a business group to attend an inauguration ceremony.
