Here’s What Happened on Day 1 of SoulFest 2022: Pakistan’s Biggest Food and Music Festival in Islamabad

The star-studded lineup included Sahara UK and the Noori brothers.

Day one of Pakistan’s biggest food and music festival, SoulFest 2022, kicked off in Park View City, Islamabad yesterday, and featured some of the biggest names in the music industry.

The star-studded lineup included Shan Khan, Somewhat Super, Sahara, Soch the Band, and Pakistan’s iconic rock band Noori (Ali Noor and Ali Hamza).

The event started off with Shan Khan playing some of his best hits as well as some covers. He also sang some popular Pashto songs for the Pakhtoon crowd.

Next up was the electronic dance music (EDM) group, SomeWhatSuper.

It lit up the event with infectious dance tracks like Sibbi and Bandook, and was a real thriller.

Sahara UK – Herbie and Kully

The night got louder when the bhangra legends, Herbie and Kully of Sahara UK, got the crowd singing and dancing along to songs like Laal GhaghraLondon Thumakda, and others.

Adnan Dhool and Rabi Ahmed

The rock band, Soch, came out next, and Adnan Dhool and Rabi Ahmed gave the audience a loud, heart-stopping performance.

Ali Hamza and Ali Noor

SoulFest 2022 ended Day One with the loudest bang. The main event — rock band Noori had music fans’ hearts racing. Ali Noor and Ali Hamza performed some of their classic songs like Neend Aye NaNishaan, and even Paar Chanaa De from Coke Studio season 9.

The brothers rocked the stage and didn’t miss a beat as they performed with the same energy that made them famous worldwide.

The Soul Food and Music Festival is one of the most popular events that is bringing together thousands of music and food lovers from all across Pakistan. The event was created by ActiveMedia in 2017 and has garnered huge success nationwide besides serving as a platform for budding chefs and up-and-coming musicians.
