Here’s When Ehd-e-Wafa’s Last Episode is Airing on Cinemas

It will be different from Mere Pass Tum Ho in one way.

Ehd-e-Wafa

So now that we all know that hit military drama Ehd-e-Wafa‘s last episode is playing in theaters, all we need to know is when.

You’d expect the last episode to be screened in theaters when the drama normally airs on television. Yet since theater screenings do better over the weekend the last episode will actually be screened over the weekend.

Ehd-e-Wafa‘s last episode will be screened in cinemas from March 14th to March 15th.

Is Ehd-e-Wafa Getting Banned?

Recently another popular drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho re-sparked the old trend of screening the last episode in theaters. However, unlike MPTH, Ehd-e-Wafa‘s last episode will also be aired on television on March 15th.

According to Box Office Detail‘s sources, Saife Hasan directorial’s is being screened in theaters ‘as per massive demand from exhibitors and public‘. Meanwhile, HUM Network is ‘trying to distinguish between television audience and cinema audience‘.

“The finale will be screened from Saturday 14th March at 6pm till Sunday 15th March at 6pm. Hum Network is trying to distinguish between television audience and cinema audience that’s why the screening will last till 6pm on 15th March so that the television audience can enjoy it at 8pm”

However, none of these details are confirmed until an official statement is released. What does HUM Network mean by ‘trying to distinguish between television audience and cinema audience‘? Could that possibly mean that both the TV broadcast and cinema screening will have different endings?

Alternative endings in theater screenings and DVDs are common in Hollywood.
