A producer is suing Hina Altaf and Agha Ali for running away with her money. According to Nosheen Agha, the actors were cast as leads in her project ‘Dil-e-Sarkash.‘ She alleges that both actors dashed with the money midst shooting.
In an interview in late 2019, Nosheen Agha of Nosh Films said that lead actors Hina Altaf and Agha Ali, as well as members of the production team, left a drama she was working on while shooting was in progress.
They all left with informing anyone as to why or that they wouldn’t be returning. Nosheen stated that she had suffered an enormous financial setback from the ‘ghosting incident’.

She claims that the production team was paid Rs 1.45 million in advance. Hina Altaf is said to have left with her advance payment of Rs 12 million rupees on November 16th.
Nosheen alleges that not only did these people run away with her money and halted the project, but they also refused to return the cash.
Meanwhile, both Hina Altaf and Agha Ali have refuted these allegations. The Band Khirkiyan actor told, Hashtag Magazine, that no one had been paid on time which is why they left.
“No one has left the shooting spell. There were at least more than 40 people on the set including the actors, DOPS, technical staff and other crew members who were not paid on time. Everyone gave her a favor and we all kept working till the situation worsened,”
The Dil-e-Ghumshuda actress stated that she even has evidence to refute these claims.
“Nothing of this sort has happened – and I have screenshots of my conversation with her which I can reveal to media when needed.”
It should be mentioned that delayed payments or not even paying staff at all is a recurring problem in Pakistani showbiz.
More Than Just Money
As though the monetary losses weren’t all, the director of production, Sohail Iftikhar and production manager, Gul Zaib Nawaz are alleged to have fled with the drama script, contracts, finished video files, and other valuable items.
According to the cast and crew’s contracts, they were obligated to be filming between November 3 – November 23.
The producer stated that she had even made living arrangements for the cast in F-6 and F-7 Islamabad. Meaning her financial losses include more than just the money she paid the cast and crew.
