In her appearance on Timeout With Ahsan Khan, during a segment of the show, the Sang-e-Mar Mar actress opened up about why she turned down the role.

When asked why Kubra Khan shared that the script just didn’t call to her. She added how she doesn’t take on projects she isn’t passionate about.
The Ye Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 starlet disclosed she was on a break at the time and didn’t want to work on anything.
Currently, she’s working on another Khalil-ur-Rehman script, London Nahi Jaunga. However, shooting for the film was placed on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are also reports that Sonya Hussyn turned down the role of Mehwish in Mere Paas Tum Ho. These claims were dismissed by the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.

Meanwhile, it’s widely accepted that Feroze Khan turned down the role of Danish in Mere Paas Tum Ho because the creators weren’t willing to hand him the huge signing amount he asked for the project.
On the other hand, Kubra Khan also opened up about why she unfollowed Prime Minister Imran Khan on Twitter. The Alif starlet shared that at the time she wanted to get away from all the political chatter on social media so she unfollowed everyone and deactivated her account.
