Here’s Why People Got Confused Over Dilip Kumar’s Viral Birthday Photo

The iconic star is turning heads once again.

Dilip Kumar

Legendary film icon Dilip Kumar is in the news once again. Muhammad Yusuf Khan, whose professional stage name is “Dilip Kumar”, recently celebrated his birthday on December 11.

Kumar changed the face of Indian cinema ever since his debut in 1944 on the big screen with his movie “Jwar Bhata.” He went on to produce smashing hits such as Jugnu, Shaheed, Mela, Aan and Devdas.

His career spanned a strong five decades, and it was only until 1998 that he gracefully retired from cinema.

The actor’s impact on Indian cinema rightfully earned him the honorary titles of “Legendary Khan” and “Tragedy King”.

A Long and Eventful Life

Dilip Kumar recently turned 97. It’s natural for such a legendary actor to almost reach centenarian status. In one lifetime, he’s accomplished milestones, that could take anyone else five lifetimes to accomplish.

The legend himself posted a heartfelt message for his fans on Twitter, thanking them for their support with the following tweet.

Confusion Prevails

At a quick glance, people will assume it’s Dilip Kumar holding the well-earned certificate in his hands!

However, if you put on your detective glasses, you will find that the person in the photo is not Dilip Kumar. It’s his brother Aslam Khan, who was there instead to receive it for Dilip Kumar.
