There is a ton of talent in the Pakistani entertainment industry but not all of them receive the same amount of recognition on global platforms.
Many actors and actresses have worked in Bollywood and Hollywood, and that surely came with more appreciation and more international appearances for them. However, some celebrities simply denied those offers as it didn’t align with their values.
Actress Syra Yousuf is also one of them. In an old interview with Hassan Shehreyar Yasin, the Project Ghazi actress revealed that she was offered a role in Hollywood but she rejected it.
When HSY asked her for the reason, she said,
“I had to, what happened was, when they sent me the script, the role was a lil too bold. It isn’t necessary to project everything as it is. I believe in that. Even if you are playing role of a mistress it isn’t necessary to get naked.”
