After several make-up artists and models spoke up against Sana Javed and her diva antics, even fellow actors spoke out. One of them is O’ Rangreeza actress Sonia Mishal.
Sonia Mishal initially attested to stories of the Khaani star mistreating make-up artists.
Now the Neeli Zinda Rahegi actress is spilling the tea on why Sana Javed was not featured in Neeli Zinda Hai after being the original actress cast for the role. Later Urwa Hocane went on to replace her. However, we were unaware of the circumstances of this change.
Taking to Instagram, the Dumpukht actress revealed why Sana Javed was replaced with Urwa Hocane in the drama serial Neeli Zinda Hai after several weeks of shooting.
The creators had to reshoot all her scenes with a new actress after she left days into the project. She did so after having many make-up artists replaced because they ‘didn’t know how to do their job’.
After many shared their run-in with the diva, Sana Javed stated that she will be pursuing legal action against them for defamation. Sonia Mishal also had something to say about her co-star’s claims that a smear campaign has been launched to defame her.
Riding the high of her success via Sinf-e-Aahan, the young star reacted to Sana Javed’s response saying;
“First of all no one in the world has time to run a ‘proper planned smear campaign’ against you.”
Mishal also voiced support toward those who have mustered up the courage to speak out against the Aye Musht-e-Khaak actor’s bad behavior on sets.
“It makes me so happy to see all these people speak up because I’ve personally experienced her bad behaviours with such good makeup artists on set to a point where I was shocked and felt sorry for the poor hard working guys who she got replace ¾ times.“
She even shared how the ill-treatment of make-up artists on set brought them to tears.
“I stand with everyone who is coming forward with this issue because everyone deserves equal amount of respect and love. We all work like a family especially our makeup artists who are not even paid enough for their skills. To watch them cry and worry on set broke my heart but then she was the ‘bigger star’.”
Sonia Mishal even asserted that her legal threats won’t scare people into silence.
“All this legal (expletive) doesn’t mean anything it’s not going to scare people who’ you’ve hurt.”
