Hira Tareen To Make TV Comeback Playing A Character With Disabilities

After a hiatus of two years, Hira Tareen is making a comeback on screen for the drama serial ‘Fasiq’

Model-cum-actress Hira Tareen is famous for being a video jockey and for playing supporting roles in various famous Pakistani dramas. She made her debut in Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai, later she worked on projects such as Khuda Mera Bhi Hai, and Choti Choti Baatein. After this, she appeared in the film seedlings in 2013.

After a hiatus of two years, the diva is making a comeback on screen for the drama serial ‘Fasiq’ which features a character with disabilities played by Hira Tareen.

The ‘Choti Choti Baatein’ star took it to her gram and shared some shots from the drama captioning

“’Don’t judge disability by its visibility.’ Playing the character of a girl who has it all yet her disability is looked at as a weakness by others was definitely a challenge I wanted to take up, and that’s why I finally decided to be back on screen,”

She plays the character of Sawera who needs the support of a crutch while standing and the actor depicts that the real-life struggles of a person with disabilities is a difficult job.

The diva stated that she wants to do justice to her character and she did her best she could

 “I did my best to portray it in the best way I could for you guys.”

She further added;

“Hope you guys are watching Fasiq and liking Sawera so far. Stay tuned as things unfold and become more interesting in the upcoming episodes. Lots of love to you all who encouraged me to be back on screen, you know who you are,”.

The story of the drama ‘Fasiq’ tells about the sacrifice and patience in love as well as the antagonist’s struggle with unrequited love and rejection.
