Hrithik Roshan just confirmed the fourth installment to his Krrish franchise. In fact, the Krrish 4 script is in its’ final stages.
In an interview, the Kite actor revealed that his superhero franchise will indeed be seeing another installment. The last installment was released back in 2013. Talks of a fourth installment have been in the cards since 2016.
The Competition
Originally it was expected that the fourth installment would clash with Raees and Kaabil. Producer Rakesh Roshan later announced that the release date for Krrish 4 was postponed to avoid clashes with Raees.

Then in 2018, Rakesh announced that the next Krrish film would hit theaters on Christmas 2020. Doing so meant that Krrish could have a big clash with three films. These films are:
- Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey,
- Aamir Khan’s long-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha
- Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn’s next untitled project
All these are scheduled to be Christmas releases.
Not really avoiding clashes then are they? Matters went radio silent afterward. The success of Roshan’s Super 30 may be the reason behind this renewed confidence.
Super 30 is smashing it at the box office. Hrithik Roshan’s comeback after two years, Super 30 performed exceptionally well. The buzz around Roshan’s comeback film is due to its interesting storyline. The film has collected 130 crore Indian rupees in three weeks and is still going strong.

In the movie, Roshan plays a mathematician Anand Kumar. Anand trains 30 students who are underprivileged, so that they can prepare for IIT entrance exams. These exams are a big deal in India apparently.
Besides Krrish 4, What’s Next for Hrithik Roshan?
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is also gearing up for his upcoming film War with Tiger Shroff. Yash Raj Film’s action thriller sees the two Bollywood stars face off against each other.
The War trailer was a visual treat, leaving fans anticipating the movie. Moreover, Vaani Kapoor further glammed up the film.
The director revealed that the film will include four action directors from all over the world, Paul Jennings, SeaYoung Oh, Parvez Shaikh, and Franz Spilhauz.
War release date is set for October, 2nd.
