Humaima Malick Reveals She Used to Recite Quran With Emraan Hashmi on Sets

“The way you all have criticized him, there are no sins left.”

Renowned actress Humaima Malick clapped back at netizens who have persistently trolled her for working with Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi.

During an appearance on YouTuber Moin Zubair’s podcast, Humaima, who starred in the 2014 Bollywood film Raja Natwarlal, spoke highly of the Indian actor, describing him as an amazing person, a fantastic actor, and a great friend.

The Legend of Maula Jatt star lightened the mood by jokingly suggesting that Pakistanis have already “washed away” all of Emraan Hashmi’s sins through their constant criticism and mocking of his name.

Humaima quipped,

The way you all have criticized him, there are no sins left.

She also highlighted the usual snide remarks she receives on her posts. “Whenever I post anything, even if it’s about Umrah, there are comments, ‘Now do you not remember Emraan Hashmi?’ And if I’m eating in a picture, then they’ll write, ‘Hm, did Emraan Hashmi eat food already?’ Come out of this mindset and stop commenting such rubbish already,” she added.

While discussing her experience working with Emraan Hashmi, she shared her admiration for Hashmi, emphasizing his talent as an actor and his qualities as a person.

Humaima revealed that she and Emraan share a religious bond, having recited Quranic verses together during their time working on the set. She emphasized that Emraan is a practicing Muslim and a respectful person who holds no ill will toward others.

According to Humaima, he approaches his work and relationships with respect and carries a pure heart, free from hate and impurities.

It has been nine years since Humaima and Emraan worked together in a film, yet the two remain close friends. Emraan Hashmi even took to social media to praise Humaima’s role in the blockbuster film The Legend of Maula Jatt.
