The Legend of Maula Jatt star, Humaima Malick has publicly apologized to controversial actor Mohsin Abbas Haider for the “harsh words” she said about him in the past.
The actress appeared as a guest on his talk show Public Demand and took the opportunity to extend her gratitude to Mohsin for inviting her.
Given how her brother Feroze Khan has been embroiled in a similar kind of controversy recently, netizens are left perplexed by Humaima Malick’s sudden “change of heart”.
Humaima Malick had a fun time on the show, dancing and engaging in playful conversation with the host. By the end of the show, she thanked Mohsin for the hospitality and said,
If I have ever in my life said anything about you, I would like to say on-screen that times change, people change, and the way they express themselves also changes.
The two then embraced each other, as Mohsin concluded the show. Viewers were perplexed by Humaima’s “change of heart”, criticizing her. While others assumed Humaima did not want to be called a hypocrite as her brother, Feroze Khan, is also an alleged wife abuser.
For context, in 2019, Mohsin Abbas Haider faced accusations from his then-wife, Fatima Sohail, of having an extramarital affair and subjecting her to domestic violence while she was pregnant with their child.
Several celebrities, including Humaima Malik and her sister Dua, publicly criticized Mohsin for his alleged behavior. Humaima had even taken to Twitter to express her support for Fatima and condemned Mohsin’s actions.
