Popular Pakistani actor Azfar Rehman made shocking revelations in a recent talk show. The Saza-e-Ishq actor came forward to reveal that he’s been a victim of harassment in the past.

The MeToo movement is one of the most sensitive issues in Pakistan. Ever since singer Meesha Shafi came forward, many young women have come forward with their stories of harassment in the workplace. However, the MeToo movement is not just for women. Men have also been victims of harassment. Recently, actor Azfar Rehman came forward to reveal he has been victim of harassment by multiple female artists.

The actor appeared in By The Way show where Begum Nawazish asked Azfar Rehman about the MeToo campaign. The Aatish star shared his story about how  several of his female co-stars made him uncomfortable in the past. In the discussion, Azfar made it clear that he prefer not to name anyone of them.

“The MeToo movement is a serious subject matter and you cannot force anyone to speak for their own sake,” Azfar said, stating he is completely in favor of the campaign. “It is wrong to expose anyone on social media without research as there are many people who use such campaigns to their advantage.”
Azfar Rehman said that he was excessively passionate about working in Bollywood. He was also auditioned by Bollywood’s casting agents multiple times but unfortunately he did not succeed. Check out the full interview here:
