Pakistani actress, Iffat Omar, frequently expresses her admiration for Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The actress stated the reason for her affection for Maryam Nawaz Sharif in a recent video.
She said,
Pehle bhi siyasatdaan thay lakin wo itne kam zarf nahi thay jitney Imran Khan hain. Maryam bohat nadir aurat hai baap k saath jail me gai aur jail me jo jo un k sath hua hai Imran Khan k dor me. Unhone bht zulm saha aur un k father martay martay bache jail me is liye I have a soft corner for her.

It is worth noting that Iffat Omar has been a vocal opponent of Imran Khan. She also said unequivocally that she does not support any political party even though her inclination towards PML-N is obvious because of Maryam Nawaz.
Iffat Omar is a former Pakistani model who rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She is most known for her portrayal as Aapa Ji (Rukhsana) in the Pakistani drama series Mohabbat Aag Si, for which she received critical praise and an award for Best Actor Female Jury.
In 2004, she was named best fashion magazine host at Indus TV’s inaugural award presentation.
She also competed in the Mehman Nawaz Reality Cooking Show on See TV, reaching the semi-finals. Moreover, she also produced and hosted the online series Say it all with Iffat Omer in 2019.
