Producer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar reveals he is done working with Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed. London Nahi Jaunga is the last film with the pair as Khalil states he is tired of writing roles for the two stars.
Recently, screenwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar made a special guest appearance on the talk show Super Over with host Ahmed Ali Butt. The notorious writer and producer talks about his latest film, career as well as his controversies. While talking about the film London Nahi Jaunga, Khalil-Ur-Rehman casually mentions that this is the last film he wrote for Mehwish Hayat and will no longer be working with her.
“Mehwish Hayat is a very good actress, she’s done a wonderful job but this is the last film I’ve done with her,” Khalil said.
The statement took the host by surprise, as Ahmed Ali Butt wanted to know why. Khalil-Ur-Rehman states he simply said that he won’t be able to write anything knew for her as he is already tired of writing roles for Humayun Saeed. Check out the full interview here.
Screenwriter Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar is also quite a polarizing figures of the Pakistani showbiz industry. The scriptwriter gained popularity for writing projects like Pyarey Afzaal, Sadqay Tumhare, and the blockbuster show Mere Pass Tum Ho. While people love his work, there are some who do not like Khalil’s views on certain sensitive issues. Khalil is one of the few people who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
