Here we go again, the ‘India or Pakistan’ game. But this time we’re looking at a family edition as Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik engaged in a cute banter.
The couple joked around about who the Indian tennis star supports, given she’s married to a Pakistan cricketer. The duo was on the sets of ‘Time Out with Ahsan Khan’ to record an upcoming episode.
That’s when Ahsan Khan asked Sania Mirza what is the worst question any journalist or any host has asked her. Turns out one recurring question has been a bit of a pain.
“One question that I am asked all the time, which is very bad and stale and I don’t want to be asked again is, ‘Who do I support when India is playing against Pakistan?‘”
In a video, Shoaib Malik is seen teasing his wife over this question. How could one choose between family?
The sportsman jokingly asks the tennis star;
“One second, this is not over yet. Who do you support when India and Pakistan play?”
So Sania Bhabi turned the tables with a witty response questioned who her husband will support during India versus Pakistan tennis matches.
The all-rounder tried to deliver a smooth save saying;
“Of course I support my wife, and I love my country.”
That’s when the sportswoman asserted the same goes for her. She then requested that she not be asked this question again.
